We introduce two routs to reach our Lab. However, if you’re not familiar with railways in Tokyo, we kindly recomend you to choice Rout 1.
Rout 1
The entire way takes about 1 hour.
1. From HYATT AGENCY to Shinjuku Station
Please walk or take a taxi to go to Shinjuku station.
Walking will take around 10 min. A taxi will take around 5min.
HYATT hotel provides the free bus servise from hotel to Shinjuku station.
Please check here for the time table.
The bus will take you to Shinjuku station within 5min.
2. At Shinjuku Station
Please take the JR Yamanote line located at Platform No. 15.
Please then get off at Ikebukuro station (150 yen and 10 min).
Please take the outer track, as it is more time efficient.
3. At Ikebukuro Station
Please change to the Tobu Toju Line at Platform No. 1 or 2, and then get off at Wakoshi station.
The ticket price is 240 yen, and the trip length will vary from 13 min (rapid express) to 21 min (local).
4. At Wakoshi Station
Now you have arrived at our city. We recommend that you take a taxi (about 800 yen and 10 min) to reach us. Please show the taxi driver the following address.

5. Inside RIKEN
We would like to kindly remind you to use the taxi to reach the Cooperation Center. Our lab is a bit far away from the west gate.
6. In Cooperation Center
We are on the 5th floor in Room 513. Welcome!

Rout 2
The entire way takes about 1 hour.
Rout 2 may be more convenient becuse the first station is very close to HYATT hotel.
1. From HYATT AGENCY to Tocho-mae Station
Please walk to Tocho-mae station of Toei Oedo Line.
The station should be very close to HYATT hotel.
2. At Tocho-mae Station
Please take the Toei Oedo Line located at Platform No. 2.
Please then get off at Higashi-shinjuku station (170 yen and 4 min).
3. At Higashi-shinjuku Station
Please change to the Fukutoshin Line at Platform No. 3 or 4, and then get off at Wakoshi station.
The ticket price is 240 yen, and the trip length will be 29 min.
Because the trains arriving at Platform No. 3 or 4 do NOT always take you to Wako-shi station, please check carefully final destination of the trains.

Only these trains will take you to Wako-shi station.
4. At Wakoshi Station
